How does the lid stay on a 3 piece telescope tube?
Last Updated: 02/11/2015
Three-piece telescope tubes have a vacuum effect as a result of the top and base components fitting the inner tube snugly. When the canister is turned upside down, the lid does not fall off right away. Because telescope tubes are made with paper, a porous material, minimal fluctuation in fit should be expected.
